As a history buff, I couldn’t resist picking up “Five Presidents” and boy am I glad I did! The personal anecdotes shared by the author who worked closely with Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, and Ford were both amusing and insightful. It’s not often you get to hear about these leaders from someone who actually knew them. Definitely a must-read for any history lover out there!
Let me just say, “Five Presidents” is hands down one of the most engaging books I’ve ever read! From learning about Eisenhower’s obsession with golf to witnessing the tension between Johnson and Nixon firsthand, this book had me laughing out loud and on the edge of my seat.
